The Trail of the Eagles' Nests - Gateway to Jura

Thanks to the location in the city center, the proximity of railway stations, we are the best base for excursions to Jura. Starting from the majestic castle in Olsztyn, immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes and wonders of the Highlands. The "Eagles' Nests" trail is one of the most important and beautiful tourist routes in Poland. Its delineation was initiated as early as 1927 by Stanislaw Leszczycki, in the pages of the magazine "Ziemia".

Currently, the "Eagles' Nests" trail is 163.9 kilometers long and runs through the provinces of Malopolska and Silesia, connecting Krakow and Czestochowa. It includes such places as Korzkiew castle, castle ruins in Ojców, Sułoszowa, the royal castle in Pieskowa Skała, castle ruins: Rabsztyn, Bydlin, Smoleń, Pilica, Ogrodzieniec (Podzamcze), Bąkowiec (Morsko), the royal castle in Bobolice, and the ruins of Mirów and Olsztyn castles. The castles and ruins are located on picturesque hills, among the limestone rocks that inspired the name "Eagles' Nests." In 2012, the "Eagles' Nests" Route was awarded the Golden Certificate of the Polish Tourist Organization.
